Member RECHARGE - Real Talk: Pricing Strategies for Small Businesses

Join our hosts in a candid conversation about pricing strategies aimed at boosting revenue and ensuring client satisfaction. Discover how to set prices to encourage growth and keep clients happy. We'll dive into personal stories around pricing a service-based business, and a product-based business, using our individual stories to illustrate the importance of knowing your own value and not using a low price as your main sales pitch.

As a former maker and retail store owner, Leslie Arthur has priced hundreds of products and sold bath and body products to thousands in the Richmond area via her former business Bon Air Soap Company. Now, as a membership resource at The MBL, Leslie is excited to share her first-hand experience with selling, pricing, and wowing customers, all while asking for what you are worth.

The MBL is excited to tag team this conversation around pricing with our friends and partners at The JWC Foundation. JWC Community Manager and owner of Crystal Clear Purposes, Crystal Simmons isn’t one to leave a problem unsolved, so when—after years in corporate America—she realized there was a disconnect between employers’ expectations and employee performance. When she looked closely and connected with her colleagues, what she found was employers were failing to connect on an authentic level with employees, so Crystal began to take on a leadership role among her peers, later moving into coaching her work teams. Crystal Clear Purposes is the cool older sibling who can get their younger sibling to open up in ways their parents can’t. She does so by coaching corporate teams, focusing closely on each individual to learn their strengths, goals, and roadblocks to offer them a personalized plan to move forward successfully and freely in their careers.
